Ed is Director of Compliance and Operations at LLG, with overall responsibility for regulatory governance, risk management and the operational performance of the practice.

He works closely with the legal and client service teams to ensure transactions are delivered within a robust compliance framework while maintaining efficiency and clarity for clients. His focus is on building systems and processes that support both regulatory integrity and a consistently smooth client experience.

With a background in senior legal leadership, Ed has extensive experience overseeing quality assurance, regulatory audit readiness and the implementation of effective internal controls within heavily regulated conveyancing environments. He takes a pragmatic approach to compliance – viewing it not as an administrative burden, but as the foundation for consistency, reliability and trust.

Ed recognises that moving home is usually the most significant financial decision a client will make. His role is to ensure that the firm’s internal structures allow its lawyers to concentrate on what matters most: progressing transactions efficiently while protecting clients interests at every stage.

He plays a central role in shaping the firm’s operational strategy, ensuring that growth, service standards and regulatory obligations remain closely aligned.

Outside of work, Ed is a regular at the gym and also enjoys exploring good food and wine – pursuits that reflect his appreciation for discipline and balance in equal measure.
